A Year in Review: Disney Parks Food & Beverage 2017

It's time to take a look back at the most memorable and delicious bites from 2017:

At Walt Disney World Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park celebrated the opening of Pandora – The World of Avatar. Included in this incredibly immersive land are two delicious dining venues; Satu’li Canteen and Pongu Pongu. At Satu’li Canteen, you can Build-Your-Own Bowl and finish off the meal with a blueberry cream cheese mousse. At Pongu Pongu, the Pineapple Lumpia has been a hit among guests and is my favorite snack to grab on the way to Flight of Passage.

At Magic Kingdom, Casey's Corner introduced the All-Beef Hot Dog of the Month. Our favorites included the Buffalo Chicken Hot Dog and Taco Dog. One of our favorite snacks in Magic Kingdom was introduced this year - Cheshire Cat Tails at Cheshire Cafe. These delicious chocolate pastry twists are decorated with purple striped icing and perfect for carrying around the park. At Aloha Isle, the Dole Whip® got even better and can now be served on a delicious pineapple upside-down cake!

At Epcot we saw the opening of Choza de Margarita this fall in the Mexico pavilion. The outdoor venue serves hand-crafted margaritas and some Mexican street fare such as tacos and empanadas.

Other new dining venues at the Walt Disney World Resort include BaseLine Tap House, a corner pub with small bites and California brews and wines, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios; Geyser Point Bar and Grill, a lakeside bar and grill with American cuisine, at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort; and Ale & Compass Restaurant and Lounge, a New England gastropub, at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

What was your favorite new item or venue that you experienced at Walt Disney World in 2017?
