Disney Skyliner to Close for Refurbishment in January 2022

Disney World has announced that the EPCOT line of the Disney Skyliner will be closing in January 2022 for refurbishment.

Announcement from Disney:

From Sunday, Jan. 23 through Thursday, Jan. 28, 2022, the Disney Skyliner line between EPCOT International Gateway, Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed. During this time, Disney bus transportation will be provided for Guests to EPCOT. FriendShip boat service is also available for EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s BoardWalk Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.

The Skyliner is a gondola system that conveniently connects Disney's Hollywood Studios and International Gateway at Epcot to the following Resort hotels: Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort. If you are planning to stay at one of the Skyliner resorts or EPCOT resorts in late January 2022 please take note that the Skyliner will not be an option for transportation.
