An email sent to Disney Resort guests states that Disney will be debuting Early Theme Park Entry on September 26 not October 1 as originally stated. Disney calls this the "soft opening" of the new service.
The Early Theme Park Entry allows Disney Resort Hotel guests and guests of other select hotels to enter the parks 30 minutes earlier than other guests at all Walt Disney World theme parks every day.

Don't forget you need a valid theme park admission and reservation. Guests without the Park Hopper Option or Park Hopper Plus Option must spend the day at the same park where they’d like to enjoy the Early Theme Park Entry benefit.
