Attendees at the IAAPA Expo: Virtual Education Conference this morning received a virtual first look inside the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction. Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, shared a behind-the-scenes look at the new attraction coming to EPCOT.
The family-friendly “storytelling coaster” will feature a groundbreaking ride system called The Omnicoaster. The Onmicoaster is a programmable roller coaster ride system where special vehicles can rotate 360 degrees while traveling at high speeds and can even do a reverse launch!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will open in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in 2021.
