For the past five years, Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure has been ranked the number one theme park in the world according to TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards. Not any longer! Magic Kingdom has dethroned Islands of Adventure and now takes the top spot in the 2020 Traveler's Choice Awards!
Each year, TripAdvisor pulls together the reviews, ratings, and saves that travelers share from around the world and use that to rank the winners of the annual awards. The best amusement parks in the World has Magic Kingdom on top and six other Disney properties on the list. Interestingly, EPCOT was not included.
4th Place - Disney's Animal Kingdom
11th Place - Disneyland Park
12th Place - Disney's Hollywood Studios
15th Place - Disney California Adventure Park
20th Place - Hong Kong Disneyland
21st Place - Disneyland Paris
If you're wondering, Islands of Adventure has actually fallen into third place behind Puy du Fou in France (who knew?!)
