The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the NBA Experience at Disney Springs will not reopen. The interactive location shut down with the COVID-19 precaution in March 2020 and has not reopened since then.
The NBA Experience just opened in August 2019 and had 13 different basketball-related activities across 44,000 square feet and two floors. There was also an adjacent NBA Store with official NBA apparel, collectibles and more, along with Disney products including jerseys, apparel, headwear, basketballs, home goods, accessories and limited-edition memorabilia.
Disney Springs workers were notified of the closure via email today. No new plans for the large space have been revealed.
