For many guests who visit the Walt Disney World Resort, the amazing nighttime spectaculars are the highlight of their Disney vacation.
Here’s a current listing of nighttime spectaculars and other evening offerings available at the Walt Disney World Resort:
MAGIC KINGDOM PARK “Happily Ever After” – This 18-minute spectacular captures the true emotions of every Disney fan and includes many of your favorite Disney Characters and encourages you to find your “Happily Ever After.” It features moments from classic Disney films such as “The Little Mermaid” and “Aladdin,” and even newer favorites such as “Moana” and “Zootopia.” Cinderella Castle serves as the backdrop of the show, with projections bringing Disney stories to life on, around and above the 18-story-tall castle.
“Once Upon A Time” Castle Projection Show – This colorful projection show is hosted by Mrs. Potts and her son Chip from “Beauty and the Beast.” The show shares a bedtime story that includes moments from your favorite Disney films, including “Cinderella,” “Peter Pan,”“Frozen” and more.
EPCOT
“IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” – This nighttime spectacular combines lasers, fire and fireworks, all synchronized to music. What could be better? The show celebrates the spirit of humanity in three acts: The Earth is Born, The Triumph of Life and Hope for the Future. A spinning globe helps narrate the story with visuals that depict the history of humanity and the grand historical moments of our time.
DISNEY’S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
“Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” – This fireworks nighttime show features the newest projection technology, dynamic lighting, lasers and pyrotechnics that brings Star Wars to life. The music, magic and characters of Star Wars are combined with these special effects and fireworks, making you feel like you are actually inside iconic scenes from the Star Wars saga.
“Disney Movie Magic” – This projection show uses the Chinese Theatre as a backdrop for colorful projections of footage from Disney’s greatest films, including the Indiana Jones and the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series.
DISNEY’S ANIMAL KINGDOM “Rivers of Light” – This new nighttime show celebrates the connection between animals and humans through a story told by performers, floating lanterns, fountains, special effects and animal imagery projected on giant water screens.
Tree of Life Awakenings – After the sun sets at the park, the animals carved into the Tree of Life’s trunk awaken. Every 10 minutes, a new story from the kingdom is told through a stunning display of color and animated imagery – directly on the Tree of Life.
Kilimanjaro Safaris at Night! – Explore the savanna at Disney’s Animal Kingdom with an evening safari journey that gives you a look at the nocturnal habits of the many animal residents, including lions, elephants, hippopotamuses and hyena.
Pandora – The World of Avatar at Night – This land, which is truly amazing during the day, transforms into a bioluminescence wonder at night.
