WESH is reporting that the theme park presentation tomorrow will only include Universal Orlando according to a county spokesperson. Walt Disney World is reportedly not presenting its reopening date tomorrow.
Vice President Mike Pence is hosting a roundtable discussion with Orlando's tourism leaders today at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and it was just revealed that Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld will reveal their theme park reopening plans to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force on Thursday, May 21. 2020 as reported by WFTV9. The presentations must include a planned reopening date. That's right Disney fans, we are finally going to get a reopening date for Walt Disney World!
Once the plans are presented, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings must sign off before they are then submitted to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Vice President Mike Pence also delivered personal protective equipment to a nursing home in Orlando as part of a federal initiative.
