Sneak Peak at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

We’re only days away from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival which begins on August 30, serving up 75 days of entertainment, events, and amazing food and beverages. Disney's newest episode of the “Inside Disney Parks” show takes you backstage at Epcot for an early look at what to expect at the Festival – along with a special report from Bing Bong's at Pixar Pier and more.


The Food & Wine Festival’s 23rd year runs from August 30 to November 12, 2018 and continues the tradition of fine dining events, appearances by favorite Disney culinarians and top celebrity chefs and concerts from your favorite bands.


Here are some quick notes on the topics covered during the show:


What’s Cookin’ – Chelsea Florig, project manager of Epcot Food & Beverage, shares a look at some new dishes.

Festival Wines – Disney Parks Blog author Jenn Fickley-Baker visits Proprietor of Festivals, Rick Decicco, to check out the best wines at this year’s event.

Live Music & Seminars – Mark Daniels share a taste of the Eat to the Beat concert series which welcomes nine new bands including MercyMe, Sheila E and Jim Belushi & The Sacred Hearts, who join 23 returning acts this year. Mark also offers details on some of the live seminars and demonstrations and a look at some of the familiar faces you’ll see during your visit, including a special message from Alex Guarnaschelli!

Food & Wine Unboxed – Cathy Dawson, product developer for merchandise events, unveils the top “must have” items at this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
