Walt Disney World Resort Guests Now Have to Pay for Parking

Per the Disney website, a new parking policy will be put in place for resort reservations made March 21, 2018 and thereafter. The policy states that "standard overnight self-parking is available to registered Guests for a fee that will be applied to their hotel folio upon check-out. All parking fees include applicable tax."

The amount for overnight parking will depend on the type of resort category:

  • Disney Value Resorts: $13 per night

  • Disney Moderate Resorts: $19 per night

  • Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $24 per night

Complimentary standard parking is available to guests who have a reservation at the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Each campsite provides parking space for one (1) motorized vehicle.

Valet Parking is available at select Disney Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villas for $33 per night (sales tax included) which is now only $9 more than self parking.

Disney Vacation Club Members will not be charged for standard overnight parking when staying at a DVC Deluxe Villa regardless of payment. DVC Members will also not be charged to park when using their points to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

For day guests who are visiting a Disney Resort hotel to enjoy the select dining, shopping, entertainment and recreation experience, the standard self-parking will be complimentary.
