With the announcement of Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and the Disney Springs area currently closed until further notice, guests are now only allowed to modify or make a new reservations for travel dates June 1 and later. Guests are able to modify these bookings if Walt Disney World Resort opens before or after that time.
For guests who booked a vacation package or room reservations during the dates Walt Disney World is closed a new Free Dining Plan is available.
The restriction appears to apply to dining reservations as no reservations were found online for dining prior to June 1.
As previously shared, unexpired multi-day theme park tickets with unused days or date-specific theme park tickets with a valid use period beginning March 12, 2020 through the closure will automatically be extended to use any date through December 15, 2020. If you cannot visit before this date, you may apply the value of a wholly unused ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date.
Disney is using June 1 as an estimated date for new guests to travel to Walt Disney World and it could reopen before or even after that date but as we have seen with the COVID-19 pandemic the situation changes by the day.
