Where to Enjoy Outdoor Dining at Disney Springs

The weather is perfect out and what better time than the present to discuss the best al fresco dining options at Disney Springs.

Paddlefish: I have a secret... the third story deck of Paddlefish is the best place for happy hour at Disney Springs. Enter the iconic paddleboat and get ready to feast on the freshest seafood at Disney. I love to start with the crab fries, yes you read that correctly, crab fries! French fries are topped with blue crab and then finished off with "louie dressing." It's what food dreams are made of! The drinks are equally exciting with a Bloody Mary that includes king crab, jumbo shrimp and candy bacon! I always finish off my meal at Paddlefish with the charred carrot cake, which includes carrot puree, cream cheese mousse and shortbread cookie crumb.

The BOATHOUSE: The deck at the BOATHOUSE has a wonderful view of Lake Buena Vista. The drinks are refreshing (don't miss the coconut mojito!) and the food is just as delicious. You can order a dock side bucket which includes french fries with coconut shrimp, fried clam strips or fried grouper, all while taking in the Florida sunshine.

STK Orlando: At night when the air hopefully cools down in the middle of summer, a favorite place to dine al fresco is STK Orlando. You can enjoy dinner and drinks under the stars accented with glimmering string lights. While steak is what they’re famous for, the seafood platters are amazingly fresh and delicious.

Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant: If you like entertainment while you dine, then Raglan Road is the place to be! The patio at the Irish pub has amazing entertainment and authentic Irish food and drinks to match. You must order the fish and chips or shepherd's pie and a pint of Guinness or my favorite, the Iced Irish which includes Irish Whiskey, butterscotch schnapps and Baileys Salted Caramel, topped with iced coffee.

Lava Lounge - Rainforest Cafe: If we're talking about al fresco drinks only then I recommend the Lava Lounge. It sits right on the lake and has one of the longest menus of specialty cocktails at Disney Springs. I personally love the Amazon Journey which is a mix of Bacardi Superior, Cruzan Mango and Strawberry Rum, triple sec, grenadine and fruit juices. If you are a fan of fruity cocktails, Lava Lounge has many different varieties including margaritas, panama punch, the blue nile, and the sunken apple.
